A stylist’s brand identity gets an upgrade.
I’ve worked with a few clients in the fashion industry and, as you’d imagine, it’s all about staying on trend. For some that means constant content creation, turning over new designs and concepts that reflect the trends of the season. But the reality is that most freelancers in the industry, like L.A.-based stylist Audrey Brianne, are out there hustling day in, day out. Luckily Audrey gave me significant freedom to create a website and a brand identity for her that was both easy to navigate and cool to look at. Knowing her schedule is crammed, I wanted to make sure to not just give her something that was the look-of-the-moment, but something classic that will look clean, stylish, and fresh through Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer. But fashion is made better with function, so we extended the standard portfolio layout to include modal pop-up video playback compatible with both YouTube and Vimeo, thus providing increased views on her videos on those platforms. All said, we think its trés chic.
