Jenny Dayco

THE BRIEF

When rebranding means reminiscing on the designs of a decade.

Los Angeles-based jewelry designer Jenny Dayco came to me looking for something “sexy, sleek, and fun.” But this was more than a web design. Jenny was celebrating her 10th anniversary as a designer by relaunching her brand with a new look and a new creative direction focused on one-of-a-kind pieces. All that said, Jenny wanted to make sure she didn’t alienate her bargain shoppers while upgrading to a more upscale look. So where did we start? With the “fun” part, of course.

FROM THE CLIENT

“I love working with Tyler. He made the process fun and upbeat from start to finish! The creative brainstorming in the beginning stages was absolutely crucial to my website. He made it enjoyable for me and he helped me determine what content and structure I needed for my site. In the end, he developed a beautiful, modern website for my business – and I get numerous compliments about how utterly fabulous my website looks!”

THE RESULT

Every piece tells a story.

Jenny’s buoyant personality was essential in representing as we were contemplating her relaunch. We asked ourselves, “What does 10 years as a working artist look like?” But instead of focusing on the designer herself and distracting from the work, we incorporated a bright and fresh color scheme, evocative typography, and beautiful product shots to bring her studio to life on the web. The result was one far more focused on the story behind the one-of-a-kind pieces and Jenny’s process, aspects of which are intrinsically tied to Jenny’s lively – and fun – spirit.
